Airflow Therapy

What is Airflow Therapy?

AIRFLOW is an advanced air polishing procedure which uses air and water pressure to deliver a controlled stream of specially processed powders propelled by compressed air in a warm spray and directed onto the surfaces of the teeth . It removes surface stains, plaque, tartar and bacterial or food deposits stuck in, around and between the teeth, even beneath the gum line, to eradicate disease-causing bacteria without harming the gingival tissue.

Why is Airflow Therapy Better?

✅ Fast- It is faster than traditional instrumentation, which means less time in the dentist's chair.

✅ Safe and effective- It is non-abrasive and minimally invasive, which means it is significantly less harmful to gum tissue. It is used to remove stains and biofilm around your natural teeth, and around restorations such as fillings, crowns, veneers and implants.

✅ Promotes periodontal health- the powders used in AIRFLOW treatments are specially formulated to inhibit bacterial growth.

✅ Pain-free and comfortable- Traditional air polishing treatments have a reputation for being messy, uncomfortable, and sometimes painful, but AIRFLOW therapy provide you a pleasant experience. A soft, warm stream of water gently hits your gums and tooth surfaces, providing maximum effectiveness with minimal discomfort.
